Zach Bryan Vows Never To Play in Kansas City Again After Spat With Chiefs Fan

Zach Bryan’s social media followers rarely have to wonder what the country star is thinking. The “Pink Skies” hitmaker has never shied away from mixing it up with his detractors on platforms like X (Twitter) and Instagram. And perhaps the only thing Bryan takes more seriously than his social media beefs is his Philadelphia Eagles fandom. Those two interests recently collided, and long story short, now Zach Bryan is skipping Kansas City on all future tours.

Zach Bryan Fights The Whole Internet, Again

Despite hailing from Oklahoma, Zach Bryan is a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan. This, of course, means he’s had six solid months of bragging rights since Jalen Hurts & Co. extinguished the Kansas City Chiefs’ three-peat hopes during February’s Super Bowl matchup.

Apparently, six months still isn’t long enough. “where are all the three peat people from last year,” the “Heading South” crooner, 29, wrote on X/Twitter Friday (Aug. 8.)

Cue the Kansas City Chiefs fandom poking their heads out all over social media. “Still rent free even after you win… absolute loser,” one replied.

One particularly enraged Chiefs fan pointed out the perceived hypocrisy of Bryan continuing to play shows in Kansas City. “Just tired of this dude always talking s— but has no shame in coming and taking these peoples hard earned money,” they wrote.

Bryan had a solution for that. “Please understand I will never play in Kansas City,” replied the U.S. Navy veteran.

Piling on, he added, “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”

“Great news,” the Chiefs fan fired back. “Take us off your live album too.”

“Done brother,” Bryan replied.

Certainly, there is precedent for Bryan changing previously recorded material due to personal feuds. Earlier this year, he re-recorded “Memphis, the Blues” sans John Moreland after the latter blasted him as “the  f***** off-brand version of me.” We’ll see if he keeps his word and skips Kansas City next time around.
