What you expect to happen today most likely won’t, and what you don’t expect to happen most likely will. With your ruler Mars linked closely to retrograde Mercury the events of the next 24 hours will be surprising, and maybe shocking too.
TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):
By all means think deeply about your plans and ambitions but don’t make any lasting commitments. The planets indicate there are some very big changes heading your way and those changes will turn what you think is important on its head.
GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):
Although you’ve had your doubts for some time about someone’s honesty you have given them the benefit of the doubt, but that may have to change. Don’t jump to conclusions about their behaviour but do be ruthless if it becomes clear they’ve deceived you.
CANCER (June 22 – July 23):
If you think that flattering people shamelessly will get what you want today then think again. While mind planet Mercury is going through its retrograde phase your sweet talk is likely to have the opposite effect to the one most desired.
LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):
If you expect other people to follow your instructions today just because you say they should don’t be surprised if they ignore you. Even if you clearly know what you are talking about they will oppose you just for the fun of being awkward.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):
Don’t junk an existing technique simply because so few people make use of it in the modern world. Virgo is the most practical sign of the zodiac, so if it works for you then stick with it. You can always change later on if you really need to.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):
You may believe you know what is going on in your social circle but do you really? The planets warn you may be in possession of only half the story, or even less, so don’t make assumptions or statements that you might regret later on.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):
You are well aware of what certain people are up to and are not about to fall for their tricks. Today’s Mars-Mercury link warns that those who are too trusting could lose out financially before the end of the week. Don’t be one of them!
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):
You may look confident on the outside but on the inside you have some doubts. Fortunately, most if not all of those doubts have no basis in reality, so stop worrying, smile brightly and make believe it’s all good, because actually it is!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):
The world does not expect you to be perfect, so don’t expect it of yourself. It will pay you today to come to terms with the fact that not all your dreams are going to come true – but those that do will bring a great deal of joy.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):
If you know what you want from life you can find a way to get it – it’s as simple as that. Identify your goal, focus on it with all your mental and emotional strength and then move towards it a step at a time – again, it’s that simple.
PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):
You may be of the opinion that you need to move in a new direction, and you may be right, but don’t make any major changes just yet. What those changes are going to be may not become clear until the very end of the month.
