When looking through the various early Black Friday deals, I was happily surprised to see the Galaxy Tab S11 on sale for $150 off at Best Buy. But then, I checked to see if it was also on sale directly from Samsung, and to my surprise, discovered that it’s not only on sale, but it can be had for as low as $150.
No, that’s not a typo. Samsung’s brand new flagship tablet is cheaper than our favorite budget Android tablet. The only potential caveat is that in order to get the Tab S11 for this cheap, you have to trade in a qualifying tablet.
✅Recommended if: you want the latest and most powerful tablet that Samsung has to offer, and don’t need something as large as the Tab S11 Ultra.
❌Skip this deal if: you need an Android tablet that has a larger screen, or maybe one that has the option of including cellular connectivity.
If there’s one thing that Samsung knows how to do well, it’s to provide a premium flagship tablet experience. The Galaxy Tab S11 is the latest example of Samsung leading the way in the tablet space, thanks to its premium design and excellent performance.
The Tab S11 delivers a fantastic experience regardless of whether you’re already in the Samsung ecosystem or not. However, if you do venture down the path of using a variety of Samsung devices, this tablet slots in quite nicely, giving you another layer of cohesion that others can’t match.
Admittedly, there were some concerns about Samsung making the switch from Qualcomm to MediaTek, but the transition has been much smoother than initially anticipated. As such, the Tab S11 series continues the trend started by its predecessor, as it makes use of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+.
According to Samsung and MediaTek, the 9400+ provides more than a 30% boost to AI performance compared to last year’s model. This is pretty great considering just how many AI features are coming to Android, with plenty more likely to arrive in the near future.
