Wyatt Lawn to Host ESPN College GameDay

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ESPN’s College GameDay Built by The Home Depot is coming to Wyatt Lawn on Saturday, bringing college football’s iconic pregame show to one of Vanderbilt’s most recognizable landmarks as Nashville takes its place at the center of college football.

Saturday’s broadcast takes place from 8–11 a.m. and precedes No. 10 Vanderbilt’s game against No. 15 Missouri at FirstBank Stadium. College GameDay airs live on ESPN, ESPNU and Disney+. The long-running, award-winning show features host Rece Davis, analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee and Nick Saban, college football insider Pete Thamel, reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims and college football betting analyst “Stanford Steve” Coughlin, in addition to other special guests.

This marks the second time in a matter of months that historic Wyatt Lawn will put Vanderbilt Athletics in the national spotlight. In August, Vanderbilt played and won its first varsity volleyball match in 45 years in front of 3,467 fans and an SEC Network audience on a temporary open-air court constructed on the grass expanse of Wyatt Lawn.

Vanderbilt previously hosted College GameDay on Oct. 4, 2008, when the show broadcast adjacent to the Commons Center on the Peabody campus.

Full details on Saturday’s schedule and how fans can attend will be announced soon. Please continue to check vucommodores.com and the ESPN College GameDay hub for updates leading up to Saturday.
