WWE Star Naomi Pregnant, Expecting First Baby With Husband Jimmy Uso

Originally appeared on E! Online

There is a new WWE star in the making.

Quite literally, as World Wrestling Entertainment’s Naomi (real name Trinity Fatu) and husband and fellow wrestling star Jimmy Uso are expecting their first baby together after over 10 years of marriage.

“We need y’all to proceed with caution because there is a baby on board,” Jimmy yelled during a clip of the What’s Your Story podcast with Stephanie McMahon played at Monday Night Raw Aug. 18. “We’re pregnant.”

And as the crowd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia erupted in cheers, Jimmy (real name Jonathan Fatu) gushed, “We all the way pregnant!”

Naomi, for her part, still couldn’t believe the news herself.

“Yes, we are,” she added during the podcast clip. “I’ve got to get used to saying it. I’m pregnant and I’m having a baby.”

The exciting news comes after the pro wrestler had to relinquish her WWE Women’s World Championship title, as she was not medically cleared to take on Iyo Sky in a defending match Aug. 11.

After her pregnancy was announced, the cameras at Monday Night Raw showed Naomi tearing up as the crowd continued to applaud her and Jimmy on their latest addition.

And retired wrestler Adam Pearce, who joined Naomi in the ring for her pregnancy announcement, added to the pro wrestler, “Naomi, I feel like I can speak on behalf of everybody in this building tonight, we are so happy for you. Congratulations!”

Naomi and Jimmy—who also coparent Jimmy’s kids Jaiden and Jayla from a prior relationship—tied the knot in 2014 and have become an iconic pair in the WWE fandom.

Naturally, fans were thrilled to hear the pair’s happy news. As one user wrote on X, “We really extending this bloodline story another 18 years.”

But Naomi herself assured that while she needed to relinquish her latest title due to her pregnancy, she is far from finished with her wrestling career.

Even if I got to come back breastfeeding with my baby in my arms,” Naomi added after her pregnancy reveal. “I’m coming back to pick up where I left off. Whoever has that title when I do, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution.”

John Cena

You could say John Cena and Shay Shariatzadeh‘s 2019 meeting was truly kismet.

“We were both in a place where we weren’t supposed to be,” the WWE star shared on a 2024 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. “I went out to see a friend, watch the Super Bowl, and I told him I wanted to watch it in my apartment because I didn’t want to jinx the Patriots. And my fandom of me not leaving my apartment would make sure that they won, but he forced my hand and I went out to see him. And she was in a part of town where she never frequents, but she had some random people come in to see her internationally and they’re like, ‘Hey, let’s go to one more place.’ So, it was truly a happy accident.”

And while John said he and Shay “immediately had an attractive spark,” he noted it wasn’t until they had “long, honest discussions” about life that they knew they were meant to be—leading them to wed in 2020.

“The attraction was very strong,” the actor added. “After those conversations, I’m like, ‘Man, I just met my best friend. I love my best friend and boy she rocks my world. So, this is what I came for.'”

John was previously engaged to Nikki Garcia, with their love being documented on her and twin sister Brie Garcia‘s E! shows Total Divas and Total Bellas. However, the couple split in 2018 after six years together, with their disagreement over starting a family (she wanted to have kids while he didn’t) serving as a point of contention.

Nikki Garcia

About a year after Nikki (a.k.a. Nikki Bella) and John broke up, she began dating Artem Chigvintsev, who had been her professional dance partner on Dancing With the Stars in 2017.

The Total Divas star and the dancer welcomed son Matteo in July 2020, and they tied the knot in Paris two years later.

But days after they celebrated their second wedding anniversary, Artem was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence. Nikki then filed for divorce in September. Later that month, the Napa County District Attorney Office confirmed it would not file criminal charges against Artem in relation to his arrest after reviewing the investigation.

Nikki and Artem proceeded to file dueling restraining orders, each accusing the other of being the aggressor and denying the other’s claims. But in November 2024, they both dropped the restraining orders and settled their divorce, with her rep noting they wanted “to move on with their lives and effectively co-parent their son.”

However, Nikki has since dipped her toe back into the dating pool.

“I went on some dates,” she said on a May 2025 episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, “not ready for it yet, but I put myself out there.”

Brie Garcia & Bryan Danielson

Brie (a.k.a. Brie Bella) and Bryan Danielson (a.k.a. Daniel Bryan) started their relationship in the ring.

“It actually started as a story line and then we really hit it off,” he explained to PW Mania in 2013, the same year they made their red carpet debut as a couple. “Actually it was shortly before our story line ended we kind of started dating each other.”

Fast-forward to 2014 when Bryan and Brie became husband and wife. In May 2017, the couple—who gave fans a look inside their world on E!’s Total Divas and Total Bellas—welcomed daughter Birdie and her little brother Buddy made his debut in August 2020.

And Brie always knew Bryan would be her teammate for life.

“We were dating, and as it got serious, I just knew,” she told Health in 2019. “I was head over heels in love with him, but could look past that puppy-love thing and just know that he would make me the happiest wife and be the best dad. He’s the nicest person who has ever walked this earth, and he treats me like a queen. Even now, there have definitely been times when Bryan and I have had some downs, but because we talk to each other like friends and don’t say mean things, we work it out.”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Meeting Lauren Hashian wasn’t initially part of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s game plan. After all, the Black Adam star was in the middle of his divorce from producer Dany Garcia, with whom he shares daughter Simone. However, fate had other ideas.

“Within 30 seconds, I thought, Wow, this girl’s stunning,” Dwayne once recalled to WSJ. Magazine of meeting Lauren, who was an event planner at the time, at a party for his movie The Game Plan in 2007. “At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over.”

The couple grew a family together, welcoming daughter Jasmine in December 2015 followed by her little sister Tiana in April 2018.

In August 2019, Dwayne and Lauren tied the knot in Hawaii.

“We’ve created two beautiful girls. Look at our beautiful world,” the bride said during her vows, as seen in a wedding video shared by the couple for their first anniversary. “You are the mate to my soul.”

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & Maryse Mizanin

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Maryse Mizanin can thank the WWE for bringing them together.

As they previously recalled to the network, they first crossed paths at the 2006 WWE Diva Search competition, where he was a host and she was a contestant.

“When she walked through the door I couldn’t take my eyes off of her,” The Miz wrote on Instagram in 2021 alongside a throwback photo from the moment they met. “It wasn’t just her physical beauty that got me. It was the way she walked, talked (she didn’t speak English and I couldn’t understand her but I could listen to her voice for hours), her complete aura was absolute perfection.”

The pair wed in 2014, and three years later they made the announcement in the ring that they were growing their family. Daughter Monroe was born in March 2018 and her little sister Madison arrived in September 2019.

The Miz and Maryse gave fans a look inside their world on their show Miz & Mrs., which premiered in 2018. And whether in or out of the arena, the two continue to cheer each other on.

“You are the most loving, caring and entertaining man I know!” Maryse wrote on Instagram in a birthday tribute to The Miz in October 2024. “You are so much fun and bring so much awesome energy to the world and our family.”

Gail Kim

The story of how Gail Kim met Robert Irvine is chef’s kiss.

The wrestling Hall of Famer first crossed paths with the Food Network star at the wrestling event SummerSlam, where he was cooking for a 2009 episode of his show Dinner Impossible.

“He had to feed the VIP party and make 20 appetizer dishes and name them after wrestling moves,” Gail recalled on a 2024 episode of Story Time with Dutch Mantell. “So I was one of the wrestlers that helped him on that day and we just clicked and that was history.”

Three years later, Robert—who has kids Annalise and Talia from a previous relationship—and Gail tied the knot. As for the secret to their marriage?

“The communication we give and the clear directions that we have is carried through our marriage,” the chef told People in 2023. “If we don’t communicate, it breaks down like a business would. We over-communicate. And she’s the better communicator, believe me or not.”

In fact, Robert added he and Gail hardly argue.

“We’re very blessed,” he continued. “We both have great jobs, great marriage.”

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss

On the way down memory lane is the story of how Ryan Cabrera met Alexa Bliss. And as it turns out, their 2020 meet-cute was more of a misunderstanding.

“We actually met because of a rumor that we were dating,” Alexa explained on The Bellas Podcast that year. “He was liking some of my tweets, and so then a fan saw that and created a whole Instagram saying that we were dating—tagged everyone in the company on it.”

But in actuality, the athlete and the singer hadn’t even met yet.

“Miz, who’s best friends with Ryan, called him and goes, ‘Oh dude, you’re dating Alexa Bliss?’ And he goes, ‘What’s an Alexa Bliss? I don’t know what that means,'” she recalled. “And he goes, ‘Oh, it’s a girl I work with.’ So we started chatting that way, and we were just friends.”

Soon after, Ryan invited Alexa to one of his concerts in Orlando. And while she went to the show, she said she turned him down for dinner and drinks afterwards.

“He was very patient and persistent, and we became amazing friends,” she added. “And that turned into literally the most amazing relationship because he is so sweet and so amazing. He literally breaks his back for my happiness.”

Alexa and Ryan wed in April 2022 and welcomed daughter Hendrix at the end of the following year.

Stacy Keibler

Stacy Keibler

Months after Stacy Keibler and George Clooney‘s two-year romance came to an end in 2013, she and her now-husband Jared Pobre made their romance Instagram official.

“I just knew I was ready and that there’s no one else in the world I would want to do this with,” the Hall of Famer told Fit Pregnancy in 2019, per the New York Daily News, noting it was like an “epiphany.”

The couple wed in 2014.

“Before we met, both Jared and I had told our parents we didn’t think we’d ever get married or have kids,” she added. “But when you’re with the right person, everything changes.”

Their world changed too when they went from a pair to a family of five by welcoming daughter Ava in 2014, son Bodhi in 2018 and daughter Isabella in 2020.

Fast-forward to today and Stacy and Jared are still going strong. As he wrote on Instagram in April 2023, “I never could have imagined one day I’d be married to an insanely beautiful WWE Hall of Fame legend!”
