Sami Zayn is now a member of SmackDown:
Solo Sikoa said MFT stomped out Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, and Jimmy Uso. Zayn came to the ring. He told Solo if he had beaten Rusev on Monday, I could have been fighting for the world championship at Clash in Paris. When that didn’t happen, I was furious, but I felt liberated. I’ve been talking so much about becoming the world champion right now that it stopped me from accomplishing anything else in WWE. Besides the world title, I’ve never held the United States Championship.
Solo said you will never hold the United States Championship. Zayn said as of tonight, I’m officially a member of SmackDown. You took something away from me, and now I’m going to take something away from you. I’m coming for you and the United States Championship.
Solo punched Zayn and they started brawling. MFT jumped Zayn which brought out Jimmy Uso. As they were pounding away at Jimmy and Zayn, Jacob Fatu came out to even the odds as they cleared the ring of MFT.
Nick Aldis came out and made a six-man tag team match with Zayn, Jimmy, and Jacob vs any three members of MFT.
Backstage:
Chelsea Green said she could have been severely injured after getting a faceful of cake last week. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre said they are going to take the Women’ Tag Team titles away from Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss.
Alexa Bliss (w/Charlotte Flair) vs Piper Niven (w/Chelsea Green & Alba Fyre)
Bliss went to the top rope. Green got on the ring apron. Charlotte yanked Green down. Fyre got on the ring apron but Bliss punched her off it. Niven charged at Bliss. Bliss moved out of the way and rolled her up for the pinfall. After the match, all five brawled. Chelsea sent Charlotte over the barricade. Niven gave Bliss a splash of the top rope.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
Backstage:
Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton were arguing. Nia Jax told Jade she got her shot at the title at Queen of the Ring and lost, so I should get the next shot at Tiffany. Tiffany told Nia that if I need to beat you again before I beat Jade again, then bring it.
Fraxiom (Nathan Frazier & Axiom) vs Carmelo Hayes & The Miz
Fraxiom was looking to deliver a double Spanish Fly on Hayes when Miz stopped them by delivering a DDT to Axiom on the apron. Hayes countered a Spanish Fly from Frazier and delivered a top rope cutter. Hayes was setting up his finisher when Miz tagged himself in and hit the Skull-Crushing Finale to score the pin on Frazier.
Winner: Carmelo Hayes & The Miz
Backstage:
Kiana James told Tiffany Stratton that Nia Jax and Jade Cargill are trying to get another shot at your championship. It won’t stop there. You need backup, so here is my card. Tiffany said I’m already the champion, so I don’t need back up. Kiana said if you’re not with us, you’re against us. You’re undefeated because you never had to face Giulia. Just because she has a title doesn’t mean she can’t take yours. Tiffany walked away.
Michin showed up and told Kiana if she would have answered any of her calls, you would know I have Giulia next. Kiana said that is under advisement.
Drew McIntyre explains his actions:
McIntrye said I don’t hate Cody Rhodes. I feel sorry for Cody. He cares about your cheers and needs that validation from you. I know that because I was Cody five years ago. I was in his position and then I evolved. I realized when we retire, you forget about us and you move on. You have to get yours while you can and I want that WWE title. I have been screwed out of that title so many times.
I didn’t attack Cody. Cody attacked me. Cody was going to put me through the table so I defended myself. I’m not the bad guy, but if you provoke me, I do very violent things. I’m the real nightmare.
Backstage:
MFT told The Street Profits if they want the tag team titles, you will have to run through us. Talla was distracted as when he looked back, he saw Eric Rowan at the end of the hallway.
#DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) (w/Candice LeRae) vs The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/B-Fab)
B-Fab hit Candice with a running knee outside the ring. Dawkins pulled Gargano out of the ring. Ford rolled up Ciampa for a near fall followed by a knee to the face. Ford tagged in Dawkins. Dawkins gave Ciampa a spinebuster. Ford came off the top rope with a splash onto Ciampa and Dawkins pinned him.
Winners: The Street Profits
Backstage:
Nick Aldis was talking to the Motor City Machine Guns when Carmelo Hayes interrupted and asked Aldis what he has to do to get a United States Championship match. Before Aldis could answer, Miz appeared and apologized for Hayes barging in. Chris Sabin told Miz he is manipulating Hayes. He asked Hayes if he is HIM or are you his. As the two teams argued, Nick Aldis said it will be Motor City Machine Guns against Miz and Hayes next week on SmackDown.
Backstage:
- Aleister Priest challenged R-Truth to a match next week.
- Sami Zayn told Jimmy Uso this is like old times being on the same team. Jimmy was happy. Sami thanked Jacob for having his back earlier. Jacob said I didn’t do that for you. I went out there to help my brother. I don’t know you like that. Sami said I don’t know you either, but that’s my brother too. If you’re cool with them, then you’re cool with me. Are we going to be cool tonight? Jacob said to stay out of my way.
Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, and Jimmy Uso vs MFT (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Tonga Loa) (w/Talla Tonga)
Jacob dove through the top ropes onto Talla. Zayn blocked the Samoan Spike by Solo and hit him with the Exploder. He then hit the Helluva Kick on Solo and pinned him.
After the match, Jacob and Zayn shook hands.
Winners: Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu, and Jimmy Uso
