There were two matches featuring women’s champions booked for the Aug. 11 WWE Raw in Quebec City, set to stream live on Netflix just a couple hours from now.
One of those is off the card. Something we learned when WWE posted this following online a short time ago:
BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw. Tune into tonight for continuing coverage on this developing story.

No further information has been provided as of this writing. The Sky match had been promoted as recently as yesterday, in Raw General Manager Adam Pearce’s weekly social media video post.
There’s no storyline reason why Naomi would be pulled, but it’s not inconceivable this is still a creative-driven move. There are possible reasons WWE would decide against running a Naomi/Sky title match tonight that don’t involve an injury or illness to the champ. The “tune in tonight” sign-off makes us hopeful it’s an angle and Naomi’s alright, but at this point that’s just speculation on our part.
We’ll let you know when we hear more about Naomi, or the change to tonight’s show.
