Deadline has confirmed that paramedics on Monday responded to a call about a woman suffering a medical incident at Disneyland.
“Anaheim Fire & Rescue responded to the Disneyland Resort for an unresponsive woman in her 60s who had just finished riding the Haunted Mansion attraction,” according to a statement from the Anaheim Police Department. In the interim, “Disneyland security personnel provided CPR until paramedics arrived.”
The woman “was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.”
Matt Sutter with the Anaheim said the woman’s death does not appear to be linked to the ride, but the final call on that resides with the OC coroner, who will determine the cause of death.
Deadline has reached out to Disneyland for comment and this story will be updated when one is received.
While scary, the Haunted Mansion is traditionally seen as one of the park’s more family-friendly attractions, scaring adults and kids since it opened in 1969.
