Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers has confirmed that she is dating former UConn teammate and long-rumored girlfriend Azzi Fudd.
Bueckers answered questions about Fudd before making her official “girlfriend reveal” in a Thursday interview with WAG Talk during the WNBA All-Star weekend in Indianapolis.
Bueckers later posted a photo of Fudd at the 2025 ESPY Awards on her Instagram story.
Fudd previously hinted at her relationship with Bueckers by posting a mirror selfie revealing that her phone case reads “Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend.”
Bueckers and Fudd spent four seasons together at UConn, where both players served instrumental roles in the Huskies’ run to a 12th national championship in April.
Fudd turned down the opportunity to go pro in favor of using her final year of eligibility at UConn, while Bueckers went to the Dallas Wings with the first pick of the 2025 WNBA draft.
Bueckers became the only rookie named an All-Star Game starter this season after leading all first-year players with 18.4 points, 5.8 assists and 1.85 steals per game.
Fudd, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four for her performance during the 2025 NCAA Tournament, is meanwhile set to enter the 2026 WNBA draft as one of the top prospects available.
An early mock by Bleacher Report’s Rachel Galligan projects her as the third pick of the draft behind UCLA center Lauren Betts and TCU guard Olivia Miles.
