NBC has revealed its upcoming midseason schedule, which includes the premiere for the new comedy series “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.”
The single-camera series, which stars Tracy Morgan as a disgraced football star looking to rehabilitate his image, will premiere with two episodes on Feb. 23 beginning at 8 p.m. ET/PT. It will move to its regular 8:30 timeslot on March 2. The cast also includes Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall.
Immediately after the premiere of “Reggie Dinkins,” “The Voice” will return for its 29th season, which is being dubbed “The Voice: Battle of Champions.” It is named due to the fact the coaching panel is comprised entirely of “Voice” winners. The competition series will air two-hour telecasts on Feb. 23 at 9 p.m., Feb. 25 at 8 p.m.,. and Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. Beginning March 2 and after a March 4 telecast, the series will air in its normal 9 p.m. timeslot followed by “Brilliant Minds” at 10 p.m.
Also in February, NBC will air the opening ceremony of the The Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games on Feb. 6, with the closing ceremony set for Feb. 22. NBC will also air Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8 from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, while the NBA All-Star Game will air on Feb. 15 from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA.
Earlier in the schedule, “The Wall” returns on Jan. 5 for its sixth season on Jan. 5 at 9 p.m., while sophomore drama “The Hunting Party” will return with its second season on Jan. 8 at 10 p.m.
