Big Brother fans are still reeling from Friday night’s chaos, when Rachel Reilly was unexpectedly eliminated in the White Locust twist — and the outrage is only growing. Now, the houseguests have moved on to this week’s pivotal Power of Veto competition, which could completely change the game and set up the biggest backdoor of the season.
Rachel’s exit stunned fans and many are still furious. Her elimination came less than 24 hours after Mickey Lee was voted out 6-1 over Ashley Hollis, setting the stage for a brutal ninth week inside the house. Big Brother alum Tyler Crispen, who hosted the White Locust competition that sent Rachel packing, even chimed in on social media, pleading with fans not to blame him for the outcome. He said Tuesday’s episode will be “the biggest of the season” and he has “no words” to describe what went down.
With Rachel gone, only eight players remain: Ashley, Morgan Pope, Vince Panaro, Ava Pearl, Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, Lauren Domingue, and Will Williams. Lauren won the Week 9 Head of Household and wasted no time nominating Morgan, Ashley, and Will for eviction — instantly putting the Judges alliance on life support.
Playing in Saturday’s Veto competition was Lauren, Morgan, Ashley, and Will, along with Vince and Ava, who were selected in the draw.
Lauren’s strategy heading into the comp? Throw it. She was hoping someone else would win and use the Veto so she can backdoor Keanu without getting any extra blood on her hands. Vince claimed he’d throw it, too, but his loyalty remains a giant question mark. Publicly, he’s telling Morgan he’s all-in on protecting her, but behind closed doors, he’s locked in a final two deal with Lauren.
When the live feeds returned late Saturday, we learned that Morgan claimed the Power of Veto!
We will report back on Monday with the Veto meeting results — and if Lauren follows through with her plan to backdoor Keanu. Then, the White Locust episode we’ve all been waiting for will air Tuesday night on CBS.
