Who Is Oliver Haarmann, Reese Witherspoon’s Boyfriend?

Yacht season has blessed us again, this time with photo confirmation that Reese Witherspoon is still dating that German financier she was taking a lot of helicopter rides with last year. On Monday, the actress and her boyfriend, Oliver Haarmann, were featured in a series of People exclusive photos that showed them looking very lovey-dovey on a yacht in Saint-Tropez.

In one photo, the couple — whose relationship was confirmed by multiple sources last September — are nose to nose in the water, both with their eyes closed. In another, she’s hugging him as he kisses the top of her head. In the last one, they’re just fully making out either pre- or post-snorkel (see: the goggles in her hands). The pics are almost shockingly intimate, so much so that my first inclination was to close the tab because I wasn’t supposed to be seeing all that. On the other hand, Witherspoon’s most unflattering moment is already on YouTube, and for Haarmann these are just photos of him kissing his beautiful, Oscar-winning girlfriend. Why would they care?

“Everyone thinks she is madly in love,” a source told the Daily Mail this week. They also added that she calls Haarmann her “little genius,” so it seems like he’s sticking around. Now that they’ve broken the seal on PDA, we might be seeing these two making out all over the place. No rich person’s hangout is safe from their tonsil hockey, so any prudish regulars at the Polo Bar better steel themselves.
