2. The Ravens could be without last year’s leading sacker, outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy, after he suffered a hamstring injury in Baltimore’s win over Cleveland last week. If Van Noy can’t go, rookie Mike Green could see an increased role.
“I think, like you said, we’ll all have to step up,” outside linebacker Tavius Robinson said. “And again, put in a little bit of extra work because Van Noy, he’s still going to be in the film room with us. He always does a great job of giving us tells and stuff like that. So, we’ll still have his knowledge out there on the field with us.”
3. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said one of the difficult parts about playing Detroit’s offense is how they stress the middle of the field with crossing routes, in-breaking routes, high-low concepts and play-action passes. He said Detroit does a good job making the linebackers play up and then throwing behind them, and it’s tough to stop, especially with the weapons on the outside. “It’s good stuff,” Harbaugh said.
