This week, it was reported that WWE WrestleMania will be heading to Saudi Arabia in 2027. It was also noted that top WWE legends could be coming out of retirement for the event.
Dave Meltzer noted that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, who will be 62 in 2027, has been talked about for the show. Meltzer stated the following…
“At this point Austin is yet to be confirmed. From the Saudi Arabia side, what they have been told by WWE and/or Austin is that he wants to make sure he is healthy and would be physically ready to do a match.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson could also be having a match at the event. Meltzer was told the following from a Saudi Arabian source…
“I can’t share with you the exact number but WWE asked for a higher number than $100 million as the show will feature The Rock (if the agreement is reached) and will be a packed mega stars show as the General Entertainment Authority requested.”
