On Thursday morning, Mercury enters Libra, where it’ll remain for just over two weeks. For the next two weeks, it might be more difficult than usual to make decisions — you’re just too preoccupied with sorting through the facts and weighing up all your possible options. Remind yourself that there probably isn’t a single best choice; at a certain point, you just have to do the best you can with the information you have. Then on Friday morning, Venus enters Virgo, where it’ll stay until mid-October. During this time, the best way to show your love isn’t with beautiful words but through action. Simply showing up and doing what you can to lighten someone else’s load will be more impactful than anything else.

In general, you prefer not to waste time second-guessing yourself. Rather than endlessly waffling over your decisions, you’d rather just make a move and then deal with any problems if and when they arise. This week, though, you could be uncharacteristically indecisive. It might be a bit frustrating to you, but try to see it as a good thing. This is a chance for you to slow down, to gather more information, to test out a few different possibilities before you fully commit.

The more stressed you are about fulfilling your day-to-day responsibilities, the less energy you have to think about the future. It’s frustrating because you don’t want to devote yourself solely to practical matters: You’ve got big dreams too but not the time to pursue them fully. Counterintuitively, the answer might be to throw yourself wholly into the mundane, everyday details this week. By sorting things out and checking tasks off your to-do list, you’ll free up mental space for the exciting, imaginative work later.

Sometimes it seems like the only way to get anywhere in life is to impress the right people. If you come across as smart or competent or cool enough, then doors will open for you and you’ll finally get the kinds of opportunities you’ve been fantasizing about. This week, though, don’t worry so much about putting on an impressive performance — it’s unlikely to win people over, anyway. Right now, it’s better just to be friendly, to make people laugh and show genuine interest in the people around you.

Your friends probably see you as someone they can turn to with their most difficult emotions. They trust you to listen without judgment, and they know you won’t try to turn the conversation to lighter matters. But while you’re great at holding space for others to open up, you sometimes struggle to let yourself do the same — and eventually, relationships will start to feel unbalanced if you’re only the one giving support and never the one receiving it. This week, try unburdening yourself to someone you trust. You’ll feel lighter once you do.

Most of the time, your first impressions are spot-on. You’re good at reading people, and when you doubt your own instincts, you often end up regretting it. But this week, be careful not to jump to conclusions too quickly. Your initial reaction to someone is a valuable data point, but it’s not the only one worth considering. If you approach people with a sense of curiosity, your view of them might evolve. At the very least, stay open to the possibility that there’s more to the story than you initially realized.

When life gets unpredictable, it can be tempting to try to reassert control by getting rid of whatever is causing you stress and quitting the activities that seem like a waste of your time. You imagine that everything will get easier if you can just be smart and efficient about where you direct your limited energy. But this week, instead of prioritizing practicality, try focusing on the things that bring you joy. They might take a bit of extra time, or cost a bit of extra money, but you deserve to seek out the things that make your life better without any guilt.

When you see something that isn’t right, or you notice another person being treated unfairly, you sometimes hesitate to step in and take action. You tend to assume that you must be missing important context; if anything were actually wrong, surely somebody else would have addressed it by now. But this week, it’s possible that nobody else has the awareness you do — or if they do, they might not know how to wield it. Don’t wait for somebody else to take charge.

There’s often a huge difference between being productive and appearing productive — and this week especially, the more energy you put into the latter, the less you’ll have left for the former. So try to stop worrying about whether you seem to others like you’re doing anything useful and focus instead on what feels rewarding to you. Don’t waste your energy trying to prove yourself: Others might not get the value of your work right away, but they’ll catch up eventually.

The best ideas you have this week are likely to be the ones you develop in collaboration with others. You and your friends all have different interests, life experiences, and ways of seeing the world — which means that when you brainstorm together, you’ll come up with more interesting possibilities than any of you could have possibly had on your own. The key is not to be so attached to your own ideas that you refuse to listen to anyone else. Don’t let your ego get in the way of collaboration.

It can be incredibly frustrating when you work hard to plan out your life, only to encounter an unexpected roadblock that requires you to rethink everything. With your future so uncertain, it hardly feels worth planning at all. This week, though, remember that your time spent preparing for the future is never wasted, even if things don’t go exactly the way you hoped. Right now, especially, is a good time to set yourself up for the life you want. The details probably won’t all fall exactly into place, but you’re heading in the right general direction.

It can be frustrating to be reminded that you don’t actually know everything, that you’ll always have gaps in your knowledge and there will always be people who are better informed on certain subjects than you are. This week, though, try to remember that this is actually a good thing. If you had nothing left to learn, life would be incredibly boring and you’d have no way to put your curiosity to use. There’s always more to explore, so find the joy in getting out into the world.

Sometimes you wish that your friends were more open with you — especially when you can sense that there’s something going on that they aren’t telling you about. But you don’t want to seem rude or intrusive, so beyond creating the space for them to share if they want, you don’t push it. This week, though, don’t be afraid to be direct. If you want to know something, you’re allowed to simply ask. While you worry you might seem pushy, chances are your friends will be glad you’re showing interest.
