Vi has been revealed as a new champion for 2XKO. As established in the League of Legends animated television series, Arcane, Vi is actually the sister of Jinx.
The latest gameplay trailer showcases Vi fighting using gigantic “hextech” gauntlets. With no projectiles to work with, it’s clear that Vi is intended to be of the brawler or rush down archetype.
During the trailer, it’s demonstrated that Vi possess an extremely quick back dash, which could be a special action in of itself. Using this, she’s able to easily dash in and out of the opponent’s reach.
By doing this, Vi can set up powerful whiff punish opportunities against opponents that are particularly button happy. Based on the size of her fists, she’s probably the type of character that can dish out tons of damage with the right openings.
It will likely be difficult to keep a character like VI out for zoners as it would appear that she has a super that’s comparable in functionality to Nathan Rad Spencer’s “Bionic Arm” hyper art. She dashes forward with a powerful punch while seemingly boasting a ton of invincibility.
Vi is armed with some an incredible mobility as it’s shown that she can easily dash across the screen and easily cross opponents up for some easy mix ups. This is the type of fighter that will likely constantly be up in opponents’ faces.
It’s also been revealed that the next closed global beta is scheduled to start on September 9, 2025. Check it all out below:
