We are roughly 24 hours away from the Michigan Wolverines’ big test on the road at Oklahoma, and we will learn a lot about the team during this game. Can true freshman quarterback Bryce Underwood perform under the lights of an opposing Power 4 stadium? Will Michigan’s defense rise to the occasion and stop possibly the best quarterback they will play against all season long? And how will the defense play without star linebacker Jaishawn Barham for the first half?
We will find out the answers to those questions soon enough, but we have learned the answer to another question that some may be wondering — what will the team wear for the game this weekend?
You’re in luck, as I have the answer you are looking for! After going with the traditional blue jersey and maize pants last weekend for the home opener, the Wolverines are sticking with the same colored pants as they head on the road to Norman. Per the team’s social media account, the Wolverines will officially be wearing their white jerseys and maize pants with white accessories on Saturday evening. This was hinted at earlier this week, as players were wearing the maize pants during their interviews with the media on Tuesday night.
The last time Michigan wore this combo was last season for their road trip at Washington. Of course, Michigan fans are hoping for a different result this weekend than that result a year ago, but this is still a great combo nonetheless. I think I like the all-white combo more, but this is definitively better — my opinion — than the white jersey/blue pants combo that the team has started to wear over the last few years.
What do you think of this jersey combo? Were you wanting them to wear a different home combo this weekend instead? Let us know down in the comments.
