UFC Rio results: Charles Oliveira smashes Mateusz Gamrot, calls for Max Holloway BMF title bout

Uncrowned has UFC Rio results, live round-by-round updates, highlights and start time for the Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot fight card on Saturday night at the Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The return of “Do Bronx” marks his first fight in Brazil in five years, and he’ll do so in front of an electric home crowd against the well-rounded former KSW champion Gamrot. The pivotal lightweight main event headlines a card featuring a host of Brazilian talent and divisional stakes throughout.

Oliveira (35-11, 1 NC) is one of the most accomplished finishers in UFC history. The former lightweight champion holds the all-time records for most submission wins and total finishes in the promotion. Following a knockout loss at the hands of Ilia Topuria for the vacant UFC title this past July, Oliveira makes a relatively quick turnaround, seeking to spark another resurgence on his home soil.

Gamrot (25-3, 1 NC) steps in on short notice for the injured Rafael Fiziev, but the opportunity is one he’s long coveted. A two-division KSW champion before joining the UFC, the Polish contender has built his name through relentless pressure, elite wrestling and a knack for thriving in chaos. He’s won four of his past five fights, including victories over Arman Tsarukyan and Rafael dos Anjos, and continues to hover just outside title contention. For Gamrot, defeating Oliveira in Brazil would be the signature moment to cement his rise among the lightweight elite and potentially propel him into a title eliminator in 2026.

In the night’s co-main event, former two-time flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo continues his bantamweight campaign against the surging Montel Jackson, as both look to make a title push.
