Sunday’s historic $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot went to winners in Missouri and Texas — but two Oregonians still won big this week on smaller lottery drawings.
One person from Oregon was among the 20 winners of a $1 million Powerball prize drawing on Sunday. Oregon Lottery spokesperson Melanie Mesaros couldn’t immediately say on Sunday where the winning ticket was sold, but said more information would be available Monday.
Sunday’s win comes on the heels of another Powerball prize last week.
On Thursday, another Oregonian had their $1 million Powerball prize doubled to $2 million by scoring a “power play.”
That winning ticket was purchased in Beaverton, Mesaros said.
