Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift take in Cincinnati opener days after engagement

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were on hand to watch the former’s alma mater, Cincinnati, take on Nebraska in their college football opener, which was being played at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night.

Travis and his brother Jason, the legendary former Eagles center, walked the field before the game, and once the action started, the Chiefs star and Swift watched the contest from a suite.

It marked the first time Swift and Kelce were out in public following their engagement announcement on Tuesday on Instagram that came with the caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Video posted by the university showed Jason and Travis walking on the field, and another clip on social media captured Travis taking some time to pose for pictures with fans.

Travis played at Cincinnati for three seasons from 2009-12, while Jason was on the football team from 2007-10.

In a separate video, the Bearcats posted Swift walking into the stadium with Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and the cheery reception she received from Swifties.

“Thank you for your albums,” one person could be heard shouting to Swift.

The Mahomes couple was in attendance in Kansas City to watch the game as well, which featured Nebraska QB Dylan Raiola, who has gone viral for his similarities to the three-time Super Bowl champion.

Page Six reported that Swift and Kelce had gotten engaged “a couple of weeks ago,” and Ed Kelce, Travis’s dad, seemingly confirmed that to an ABC news affiliate in Cleveland.
