Tommy DeVito’s Giants run comes to end as team releases fan favorite

No more Cutlets.

The Giants released quarterback Tommy DeVito ahead of Tuesday’s roster cuts, per ESPN.

DeVito had been slated to be the team’s fourth-string quarterback behind starter Russell Winston, Jameis Winston and first-rounder Jaxson Dart, but the Giants opted against carrying all four.

The 27-year-old started 12 games for the Giants over the last two seasons, including nine in his 2023 campaign that saw him become a fan favorite and earn the nickname “Tommy Cutlets.”
