Between the two remastered compilations, the PS5 and PS4 are already great systems for classic Tomb Raider games.
But they’re about to get even better, because Trophies for Tomb Raider: Anniversary appear to have hit Sony’s servers.
It’s highly likely this game will be added to the PS Store as an emulated effort as part of PlayStation’s retro selection included with PS Plus Premium.
You may recall a little while back that Tomb Raider: Legend represented one of the first PS2 titles to take advantage of Sony’s emulator, and Anniversary is its direct successor.
This game is actually a remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, and included input from creator Toby Gard, who expanded upon the PS1 outing’s narrative.
The Trophies themselves seem fairly straightforward, including gongs for beating each level, as well collecting artifacts, relics, and outfits.
We suspect this game will be part of PS Plus Premium’s lineup in October, which won’t be announced until mid-way into the month.
Still, it means practically the entire Tomb Raider franchise will be playable on PS5 and PS4, with only Tomb Raider Underworld outstanding.
