Taylor Swift is the ultimate showgirl with an expansive catalogue of music and a record-breaking tour to prove it. Plus, she has an opulent wardrobe to back it up.

Swift is promoting her new album The Life of a Showgirl in a parade of bedazzled looks that fit the bill and add to her already mega-watt shine. In an image shared by Spotify, Swift can be seen sitting on the ground leaning against a bed in a disco-inspired pink-and-purple bejeweled chainmail dress. The minidress, a custom Kelsey Randall piece, was embellished with about 8,000 rhinestones and gemstones and took the designer 13 days to finish—a significant time frame as its also Swift’s lucky number.

Randall tells InStyle that Swift’s stylist Joseph Cassell commissioned her to make the mini. “We [Randall and Cassell] had a clandestine meeting to discuss all things rhinestones and chainmail. I showed him some of my concepts with the rhinestone cup chain, which we were both super in love with how it moved and felt like an evolution from our first dress,” she explains, referring to the other Kelsey Randall creation featuring green gemstones and silver chainmail. In that photo, Swift posed on a food cart next to a plate of pasta with her pointed-toe black pump-clad shoe up placed on the wall.

“I developed 5 different crystal motifs for the discs which I used to undulate and shape around the body,” she continued. “Making this dress was an insane project because getting the materials into the country was a nightmare with the tariffs and long customs times—so I had 13 days to make the dress before I flew it out to LA for Taylor.”

Given the quick turn around, Randall tapped her friends to help construct the delicate chain tassels that hang off the dress’s hemline, as well as glue on the rhinestones. “We nicknamed ourselves The Fringe.”

“As a huge Swiftie—my wife and I danced to “Lover” for our first dance and went to Europe for the Eras Tour—this project was truly the highlight of my career so far,” she adds. “Taylor’s team is as hardworking as they are kind, so making these looks was actually the perfect mix of magic and mania!”

Swift finished off the lavish glittering look with even more sparkle: gold diamond Duniya earrings and an Alison Lou heart-shaped ring. She also added pink fishnet ankle socks under bedazzled strappy heels for good measure.
