Taylor Swift To Appear On ‘The Tonight Show’ On October 6

Taylor Swift is heading back to 30 Rock for another round with Jimmy Fallon.

The pop star will appear on NBC’s The Tonight Show on October 6 to promote her new album The Life of a Showgirl.

It comes after Fallon teased the appearance with a roulette-themed video (see below). Fallon captioned the clip, “Not a lot going on at the moment,” which is a nod to a signature Swift line that she has used in the past and worn on a T-shirt in her “22” music video. The roulette ball lands in slot 13, and Fallon sighs saying “baby, that’s showbusiness for you” before walking out to a bunch of feather-clad showgirls.

It marks Swift’s seventh appearance on Fallon’s show, having most recently appeared in 2022, to promote her Midnights record. That was the last time she appeared in coordination with a new album release, as she was in the middle of the Eras tour when The Tortured Poets Department came out.

Swift’s previous appearances on the late-night show include a performance of New Year’s Day in 2017 after Fallon’s mother died, which featured lyrics that echoed Fallon’s memories of his mom.

The Diplomat star Keri Russell will also be a guest on the October 6 show with a musical performance by The Format.

Elsewhere, Swift is set to appear on BBC chat show The Graham Norton Show and she has Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl in theaters around release of her twelfth studio album, which she officially announced on Jason and Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast in August.

Swift is a late-night fixture; she has also appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live!
