Are the Swifties ready for it?
Travis Kelce and big brother Jason Kelce sent Taylor Swift fans into a tailspin Monday morning when they teased an upcoming episode of their popular “New Heights” podcast, which will feature a “VERY special guest.”
In a post shared on X, Travis — who has been dating the pop megastar since 2023 — can be seen smiling from ear to ear while looking at a blacked-out silhouette, whom many speculated to be Swift, while Jason, 37, rocked a navy blue Eras Tour shirt from the Grammy winner’s blockbuster phenomenon.
“I am about to throw up,” one fan wrote on X.
“YALL WEARING TAYLOR SHIRTS. The background is sparkly orange. Oh my god,” another posted.
“The Midnights shirt…the look on Travis’ face….the silhouette,” a user on X began. “IM NOT CLOWNING YOURE CLOWNING.”
The episode in question is slated to drop Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m. ET.
Swift, 35, has spent much of the offseason with Travis, also 35, as he prepares for his 13th NFL season with the Chiefs.
Although the singer has not appeared on the siblings’ show, she has been mentioned countless times.
Days after Swift broke the internet by attending her first Chiefs game in September 2023, Travis gave his girlfriend a shoutout over the “ballsy” move.
“I just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her, the friends, and family. She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light, and on top of that the day went perfect for the Chiefs,” Travis said at the time.
Swift would go on to make several appearances at Chiefs games that season, including Kansas City’s overtime Super Bowl win against the 49ers in February 2024.
Although the Chiefs reached the Super Bowl in February for the third straight year, they were throttled by the Eagles in New Orleans, 40-22.
Travis, who was all but invisible with 39 yards and four receptions, stated at training camp last week that he’s “thrown that thing in the trash.”
The Chiefs open the 2025 NFL season against the Chargers in Brazil. They’ll be back at their home Arrowhead Stadium the following week for a Super Bowl rematch against the Eagles.
The Chiefs and Chargers kick off on Sept. 5. It remains to be seen if Swift will be in attendance.
