Open to all fans, the event will feature sets inspired by Swift’s music as well as photo opportunities and an Easter egg hunt.
Swift will not be in attendance at the pop-up experience.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, the Grammy winner revealed what Swifties can expect from The Life of a Showgirl — including exclusive photocards and poems tied to the era.
The “Fortnight” singer gushed about her “extraordinary” album photo shoot with Martin Marcus. “I just wanted the fans to have as many images from this sort of world this album era as possible,” she said in the video. “And so I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and the best packaging and the best CD experience that they could have.”
“So we’ve got — the CDs all have photo cards in them, the vinyls, they each have a poem inside of them, a unique poem,” Swift continued. “They’ve got more images than we ever planned to put in there.”
She also spoke about how she’d “never” designed an album with a “high-gloss finish” before the showgirl-themed project.
“I think we wanted this album to feel really luxurious,” Swift explained. “And kind of as a nod to the luxury that a showgirl puts on when she’s onstage.”

“Meanwhile, like in the quick-change room, she’s like [heaving],” she joked. “Maybe that’s just me. I don’t know.”
Swift concluded the video by explaining she’s happy with how the look and feel of The Life of a Shwogirl came together.
“The vinyl packaging, the CD packaging, the photographs, the photo cards — it’s all just something I’m very proud of, and it took a lot of time to put together, a lot of concentration, a lot of organization, but hopefully it pays off,” she said. “I hope the fans are happy.”
The video came a day after Swift announced The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will hit AMC theaters from Oct. 3-5. The film will feature the music video for her single “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with behind-the-scenes footage of how the album was made and “cut-by-cut explanations of what inspired this music.”
