Taylor Swift Celebrated Her New Album at Casa Cipriani

Last night, 1.3 million people tuned in live to watch Taylor Swift appear on her boyfriend’s podcast to talk about her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. But while her fans were busy watching Travis Kelce fawn over her on New Heights for two hours straight, the pop star was out on the town, celebrating at Casa Cipriani in New York City.

At the members-only club, per “Page Six,” the pop star was accompanied by her longtime noncelebrity bestie Ashley Avignone and Owen Thiele, who recently starred in Overcompensating and has appeared in many of Swift’s music videos. If I had to guess, they were probably yapping about the Swifties’ inevitable world domination and indulging in the club’s famous vanilla meringue cake. What a night.

A source told “Page Six” that Swift came off as “such a regular person,” even though over a million people were probably listening to her talk about sourdough at that very moment. Apparently, Swift was within earshot of Mayor Eric Adams, who “Page Six” reports was just “a few tables away” having his own night out at the establishment. While Swift was rumored to have quit Casa after photos of her and Matty Healy kissing were leaked in May of 2023, it seems like her membership is going strong. Where else would she be able to throw back French Blondes in peace?
