Taylor Swift’s appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast on Wednesday night almost broke the Internet, with the episode already having been viewed more than 9.5 million times already. And it was everything Swifties dreamed of: A two hour candid convo with Queen Tay, footage of the pop star snuggling up with Travis, and lots of insider details about her newest studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, dropping October 3.

Taylor was funny and relatable throughout the recording (she’s in her sourdough era! She’s getting Travis’ nieces comfortable with cats! She is still learning about football!), and the world got some fascinating, new insight into her relationship with Travis. The two sat close together during the interview, holding hands, sharing plenty of laughs and a few subtle kisses, and seemed to be totally vibing together.

The pop star shared stories that show how ingrained each of them are in each other’s lives, joking with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce like they were old friends and revealing that she was actually at Travis’ house when she learned that she was able to purchase her master recordings. In fact, Travis was “weeping” alongside her when he learned the news, Taylor said.

Throughout the interview, Travis cheered Taylor on, saying that she’s the “smartest woman in the room” and declaring, “I’m the luckiest man in the world,” while Tay cheekily responded “…says her boyfriend.”

To outsiders, it appears as though Taylor and Travis are very in love and have a supportive relationship. But their body language actually holds some pretty telling signs about what’s going on between the two, according to expert Patti Wood.

Here’s what she can tell you, based on the way they’re interacting in the podcast episode.

They’re functioning as a cohesive unit.

While these two had to be in the same frame for the podcast taping, Wood points out that their mics were positioned in a way that they could have their own space if they wanted it. Instead, Taylor and Travis chose to have their bodies overlap. “Overlapping is an indication that the couple wants to be seen as a single unit,” she says.

Wood also notes that sometimes Taylor’s shoulder would be front; Other times, Travis’ shoulder would be in front. “That’s a good thing—there’s a power balance,” she says. Whichever one of them was behind at any given moment would also often lean into the person in front, suggesting even more support, according to Wood.

Travis adores Taylor, and she’s precious to him.

There were a few stolen kisses in this episode, including one moment where Travis gently kissed Taylor’s open palm after she touched his face. “That’s very sexual and also adoring,” Wood says. “It’s a sign of how precious Taylor is to him and how much he adores her. It’s quite lovely.”

They’re very playful and comfortable together.

This couple were incredibly relaxed and laughed a lot together, but there were a few times where Taylor cradled Travis’ face in her hands and said something like, “you’re so handsome.” In response, he made a jokingly posed smile. Wood calls this a “calm, playful response” that suggests they’ve done this little song and dance before.

“It’s a little exchange that they do for each other that indicates they’re doing well together,” Wood says. She points out that many couples have one person who tends to be more of the “receiver” of compliments, “but they both do it and they’re both stars,” she says.

Travis is happy to let Taylor shine.

The episode was entirely centered around Taylor, and Travis seemed happy to keep it that way. He and Jason let her have the floor without interrupting, and rarely spoke over her. Several times, Travis and Tay shared a sweet, mirroring gaze—where they met each other’s eyes and had a similar smile—while also holding hands or with their arms overlapping. “It tells me that they’re doing a good job with each other,” Wood says. “This is the longest interview they’ve had and it’s really about her. That tells me Travis is very emotionally secure. He was giving her compliments the entire time.” Wood says this photo is a sign that these two are a good fit. “They’re doing good for each other,” she says.
