Now this is actually romantic.
Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce, stepped out in their most matching outfits yet amid their engagement era for a classy, yet chic date night at The Polo Bar in New York City on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The pop superstar, 35, and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, respectively, rocked “smart and elegant attire” for their night out, abiding by the Ralph Lauren restaurant’s strict dress code policy listed on the joint’s website.
“The Polo Bar has a dress code of smart and elegant attire. Entrance will not be permitted if guests are wearing athleticwear, beachwear, T-shirts, hoodies, ripped jeans, or hats. Jackets are not required for men, but much appreciated,” the code states.

Black tops and trousers were worn by both Swift and Kelce, who walked hand-in-hand as they made their way into the restaurant for a late-night bite. The couple’s outfits were on full display as seen in photos captured of their arrivals.
For Swift’s part, she wore a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder top from Alaïa ($1,900) and paired it with Stella McCartney wool trousers in gray ($1,590). She accessorized with the Stella McCartney Ryder Flap crossbody bag ($875).
Her shoes, meanwhile, were a subtle statement to complete her look. She wore the Jimmy Choo x Jean Paul Gaultier leather wedge pumps with a unique Eiffel Tower graphic in the transparent heel.
As for The Life of a Showgirl artist’s jewelry, she wore an Audry Rose diamond lock necklace ($7,800) and the customizable diamond trail lariat ($6,440) from the brand. Her engagement sparkler aside, she slipped on the Louis Vuitton Le Damier ring ($4,350).

Swift opted for her classic glam, including her signature red lip and black-winged eyeliner. She wore her blonde bangs and long locks down, flowing naturally on her shoulders.
Kelce coordinated in a black top, specifically the fine-knit Henley shirt by Fear of God ($1,295/$906). He styled it with brown, pleated pants from the same designer and finished his look with the sold-out Nike x Travis Scott Air Jordan 1 retro low OG SP ‘Velvet Brown’ sneakers ($150).
To accessorize, the NFL star wore the Santos de Cartier skeleton watch and a Louis Vuitton dog pendant.

The recently-engaged couple’s outing comes amid Kelce and the Chiefs’ bye week, which he spoke about briefly during the Wednesday, Nov. 5 episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast.
Kelce is recovering from his team’s Sunday night loss against the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 2, and is awaiting the team’s game against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 16. But during the brothers’ podcast, Jason tried to get Travis to discuss his off-the-field schedule.

“I’m thinking about how the f— are we gonna beat the Denver Broncos? That’s gonna be on my mind for the next two weeks,” the three-time Super Bowl champion said when asked by his brother about his plans.
“Well, for the next week, at least, take your mind a little bit elsewhere,” Jason urged him. “What are you doing? Anything fun? You’re gonna get into travel? What are you doing here? What are you doing over the week? Tell us about your personal life.”
The Chiefs star shut down the conversation, saying, “No. No chance.”
