No one sparks passions like Sydney Sweeney!
The polarizing actress, 28, introduced FOX’s coverage of Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday, October 28, triggering a debate among fans.
“Given the setting, it would be appropriate to dust the story in movie magic,” said the Anyone But You star, who wore a little red dress and a Marilyn Monroe-style bob, setting the scene for the Los Angeles Dodgers’ matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays. “Let’s just save the Hollywood for the ending.”
But some baseball fans weren’t charmed. “Who invited you?” one wrote on X, while others slammed Sweeney on the social media platform for her “wooden” delivery and “creepy a$$ tone of voice.”
“Bad vibes,” concluded another.

Her fans, however, were thrilled to see the Euphoria actress, who attended the game alongside boxer Christy Martin, the subject of her new movie.
“Did Sydney Sweeney break the internet yet?” wrote one on X, while others called her the “best thing” about the series.
“Just when you thought this World Series couldn’t get any better we get a Sydney Sweeney hype video,” another fan gushed.
As the National Enquirer has previously reported, Sweeney faced backlash earlier this year for a controversial American Eagle ad.
“It seems everything she does causes a stink,” a source told the Enquirer.
