When it comes to the US, people have already been sceptical of getting vaccinated for any kind of disease. With a lack of trust in authorities and some bizarre claims by the current health secretary, civilians have been eyeing government advice.Now, a study claiming the COVID vaccine is linked to six forms of cancer is only raising more eyebrows. Korean researchers state they found proof that the jabs raised the risk of six types of cancer including lung, breast and prostate.
This risk appeared greatest for those over 65, they wrote in the journal Biomarker Research, owned by Springer Nature, a respected scientific publisher globally.It was authored by Korean medics in orthopaedic surgery and critical care who analysed the health records of more than 8.4 million adults between 2021 and 2023.

Participants were categorised on the basis of whether they had taken the Covid vaccine including a booster and then, cancer diagnosis rates were compared against vaccination status to determine the risk of certain cancers a year after taking the jab.They hypothesised that after a year, those who had taken at least one Covid jab had a 35% increased risk of being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and a 34% risk of gastric cancer. This risk was 53% for lung and 68% for prostate cancers, respectively. Additionally, breast and colorectal cancer had risks of 20% and 28%.

mRNA vaccines, such as those made by Pfizer and Moderna, were ‘linked to the increased risks of thyroid, colorectal, lung, and breast cancers’, the authors added. They claimed vaccinated males were more vulnerable to gastric and lung cancers whereas vaccinated females were more susceptible to thyroid and colorectal cancers. However, they did not explain the science behind the jabs having an increased risk.

The study has created much buzz and has been considered contentious with experts labelling it “superficially alarming” and warning that its conclusions were hugely overblown.Cancer Research UK, dismissed the study along with pointing out that mRNA technology is being used to develop new jabs that are showing help in actually preventing lung, ovarian and other types of cancers. Moreover, Dr Benjamin Mazer, an assistant professor of pathology at Johns Hopkins University, said to Daily Mail UK, ‘No carcinogen can induce cancer that quickly. Mutations take time to accumulate and cells take time to replicate. The outcome measured is not the development of cancer but the diagnosis of cancer. Once a cancer develops in the body, it still takes time for it to come to the attention of the patient and the healthcare system. How could anything possibly cause a cancer to not only grow but grow large enough to be detected in a matter of days?’Previously, the link between Covid jabs and cancer had been dismissed by academics and oncologists after claims that it led to ‘turbo cancers’ Scientists have dismissed the information that there is any credible evidence of these vaccines disrupting tumour suppressors or driving any kind of process that causes cancer.
