We finally know who will end up answering Sami Zayn’s United States Open Challenge for SmackDown this week.
According to a report by PWInsider, Rey Fenix will be answering Sami Zayn’s Open Challenge for the United States Championship for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Norfolk, Virginia.
Sami Zayn had a stellar match against John Cena last week on Friday Night SmackDown, but Brock Lesnar interfered in the bout and attacked both Zayn and Cena in the end.
Apart from this match, Drew McIntyre will be duking it out with Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill in a rematch from SummerSlam.
Considering the incredible in-ring talent of Rey Fenix, fans are definitely looking forward to seeing whether the Mexican Superstar will be able to pull off the upset win and become the new United States Champion. So we’ll have to see who will win in the end.
