Spoiler on Current Plans for WWE Women’s World Championship

Naomi vacated the Women’s World Championship after announcing her pregnancy last month and there’s already a big match that will crown a new champion soon. However, WWE’s current plans might see a big name win back the title again.

According to Billi Bhatti of the Dirty Sheets Wrestling Informer podcast, WWE’s current plans will see Rhea Ripley win back the Women’s World Championship next month at the WWE Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Australia. On top of that, it is believed that Ripley will snap her losing streak to IYO SKY on the road to reclaiming the title.

“As things stand, the plan is for Rhea Ripley to recapture the vacant championship in her home country of Australia at the WWE Crown Jewel PLE next month. It’s also believed that Rhea Ripley will end her losing streak to IYO SKY en route to reclaiming the Championship.”

This comes after it was already announced that IYO SKY will be squaring off against Stephanie Vaquer at the WWE Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, where the winner will be crowned the new Women’s World Champion.

The Crown Jewel Premium Live Event will take place in Perth on October 11th at the RAC Arena in Australia. So it makes all the sense in the world for the Eradicator to win back the title at next month’s event, especially with her beating IYO SKY for the title.

While Rhea Ripley is currently entangled in a feud with Asuka, it’s clear WWE has huge plans for the Eradicator. So we’ll have to see whether she does end up winning the Women’s World Championship at Crown Jewel next month.
