Sophie Turner worked with Kit Harington for years on the hit HBO series “Game of Thrones.”
But there’s one thing the pair, who played brother and sister on the show, never had to do: film intimate scenes together.
The two finally had to tackle an on-screen romance in their upcoming film “The Dreadful,” after Turner suggested Harington as the lead.
“I sent the script to Kit and he kind of sent me a message back going like, ‘Yeah, I’d love to, but this is going to be really fucking weird, Soph,’” Turner shared during a stop by “Late Night With Seth Meyers” last week.

“And I was like, ‘What is he talking about?’” she said. “Then I was reading it and I’m like ‘Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex.’ And then I’m like, ‘Oh, shoot ― that’s my brother.’”
Turner said the two attempted to put the intimate scenes “out of our minds,” but were unfortunately confronted with it right away on set.
“We get on set and it’s the first kissing scene, and we are both retching. Like, really, it is vile,” she said. “It was the worst ― another really bad moment in my career.”
While the two are branching out from their “GOT” characters, Turner previously shared that one part of “The Dreadful” might remain similar from their old show.
“It’s set around the time of the Wars of the Roses, so we’ll probably be floating about in robes on clifftops again,” the “Joan” actor told the U.K. Times in September.
And despite all the weirdness, she told the publication at the time that she’s glad the male lead went to Harington.
“You can’t not have Kit,” she said.
