It hasn’t been a great weekend for the Sanders boys — neither of whom’s preseason finales ended the way they would’ve hoped on Saturday.
On the Browns side, Shedeur and the offense struggled to move the ball in the second half of today’s game vs. the LA Rams — with the QB taking more sacks than completed passes and getting pulled from the final two-minute drill in favor of Snoop Huntley.

“Of course you wish you can [go back and change it], but in the battle of the moment, in the heat of the battle, you want to be that alpha,” Sanders said after the win. “You want to be that dog. You want to be out there in that final two-minute drive. So of course, small things, of course frustrate, but that’s what happens when you want to be a player to be able to change a franchise.”
Meanwhile, older brother Shilo found himself heading back to the locker room early for throwing a punch at a Bills player just ahead of halftime.

Shilo gets ejected
Sanders was ejected from Tampa Bay’s final exhibition after getting tied up with Buffalo tight end Zach Davidson who was blocking the Bucs safety downfield.

Davidson appeared to work his way up to Sanders’ facemask, prompting the undrafted DB to retaliate and take a swing at the 6-foot-7 former fifth-round pick.
Shilo’s wind up after the pushing and shoving was definitely enough to catch the attention of officials and he was quickly assessed an unnecessary roughness flag and ushered back up the tunnel.
While mixups like these happen all the time in the National Football League, players have to keep their composure — especially when they’re fighting for a fourth-string roster spot.

What does this mean for his NFL chances?
Sanders is competing with fellow safeties Kaevon Merriweather and Rashad Wisdom for the final position in Todd Bowles’ defensive backfield and this obviously doesn’t help that.
Shilo was also flagged for a pass interference call in the previous quarter which didn’t serve Tampa’s defense well either.
Members of the Buccaneers’ sideline attempted to make the case to the refs that Davidson should’ve been penalized as well for his role in getting the whole thing started. However, Sanders was the only one disciplined in the conflict.

It’s also worth noting that Sanders was tossed from a game for targeting back in 2023 at Colorado.
On that play, Shilo was flagged for putting a hit on a defenseless receiver, but he vowed that the ejection wouldn’t slow him down and that he was still going to play a physical brand of football.
