An apparent injury to Seth Rollins cast a shadow over Saturday Night’s Main Event during his match against LA Knight.
The incident occurred as Rollins attempted a springboard moonsault. His right knee appeared to buckle as he landed on his feet before falling to the canvas. Rollins immediately clutched his knee and retreated to a corner of the ring, prompting referee Jessika Carr to intervene and hold Knight back.
Seth Rollins looks to have suffered a legit injury, possibly to his ACL. It seemed like a work. Nobody bought it, then Seth awkwardly limped into a BFT for a clean loss #SNME pic.twitter.com/bVKEuU7DQj

A ringside doctor checked on Rollins at ringside, joined by Carr and Paul Heyman. After a brief discussion, Rollins stood up, and the match went directly to the finish. Knight hit his signature BFT to score the pin.
According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Rollins was originally scheduled to win the match, but plans were changed mid-match after the injury. The decision to have Knight go over was reportedly made on the fly. Johnson added, “All signs are the Rollins injury tonight was legitimate.”
The severity of Rollins’ injury is unknown, and it’s unclear if his injury will impact his ongoing storyline with Heyman and their alliance with Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. It is also unknown whether any action will be taken regarding Rollins’ status as Mr. Money in the Bank.
