President Trump is set to make an appearance at the Ryder Cup this week. Scottie Scheffler, the best player on the American team, has made his opinion on the President of the United States very clear.
The President of the United States, 79, is expected to attend the Ryder Cup on Friday, September 26. The three-day Ryder Cup, which pits the best of America against the best of Europe, is being held at Bethpage Black in New York. President Trump, who owns several prestigious golf courses around the United States and the rest of the world, will be making an appearance at the iconic event.

President Trump, who attended the men’s final of the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, New York earlier this month, has also attended the Super Bowl and the Daytona 500 this year, among other events.

Scottie Scheffler, 29, is expected to be a key contributor for the U.S. squad this year. The No. 1 player in the world is a four-time major champion. He could be the best player on the course on either side at Bethpage Black later this week.
With President Trump set to make an appearance, Scheffler made his opinion on the President of the United States extremely clear.

Scheffler makes opinion on President Trump clear
Scheffler, who has played rounds of golf with President Trump, said that the President of the United States just loves the game.
“He just loves the game of golf,” said Scheffler at his Ryder Cup press conference on Tuesday, “And he’s one of those guys when you’re around him, he does such a good job of, like, feeding confidence into everybody around him.
“That was one of the things I noticed a lot with the little bit of time I spent with him, is he treats everybody the same and treats people with the utmost respect. Whether you’re the person serving us lunch or the caddie on the golf course or the guy who’s the president of the club that we’re at, he treats everybody like they’re the greatest person in the world.

“I don’t think he has any plans to address us as a team, but I’m sure if things go well, we’ll hear from him this week.”
Scheffler added that while it’s been a tough past few weeks for the United States, he thinks President Trump’s presence will help the American team, adding: “it’s been a tough few weeks for our country with some of the stuff that’s been going on, and to have our president here and for us to represent the United States of America, albeit being in a golf tournament, is extremely important for us and we’re excited to be on home soil with the home crowd and we’re ready to get this tournament started.”
The first round of the Ryder Cup is set to begin on Friday.
