The viral sensation Savannah Bananas are headed for Oregon.
The Bananas are scheduled to face the Party Animals at Eugene’s Autzen Stadium on June 27-28, 2026, the University of Oregon announced Thursday.
The team plays what can only loosely be described as baseball, and that’s exactly the idea. Banana Ball is marketed as a faster, more entertaining version of America’s Pastime, complete with choreographed routines from the players, a player who competes while walking on stilts, and a family-friendly two-hour limit to the game time.
The Bananas played in 40 cities in 2025, filling NFL and MLB stadiums all over the United States. Prior to the Autzen Stadium games, the closest the Bananas had made it to Portland was last month in Seattle.
Tickets are obtained through a lottery system. The 2026 Banana Ball Ticket Lottery List runs through Oct. 31. To sign up for the ticket lottery for the Autzen Stadium games, go to https://thesavannahbananas.com/tickets/.
After the lottery ends, fans who have a chance to purchase tickets will be notified. If you aren’t lucky enough to get tickets to the Eugene games, maybe another city will fit the bill. Here is the full 2026 schedule.
