Samsung announced its lastest flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, earlier this month during the annual IFA in Berlin, and now we have it in the office and about to start working on its review.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is an impressive device with its massive 14.6-inch display. The panel remains unchanged from last year, but that’s not an issue given that the screen was excellent in the first place. It offers supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+.

The chipset gets an upgrade, though, from last year’s Dimensity 9300+ to 9400+ now. Memory configurations still span from 12GB/256GB to 16GB/1TB. We see no change in the camera department, except that the Tab S11 Ultra is equipped with just one selfie camera, not two like before.

However, the newer Tab S11 Ultra boasts a slimmer profile, now measuring 5.1mm, making it one of the thinnest tablets around. Samsung also managed to cut down on weight, so now the new Ultra comfortably sits below 700 grams, 692 g to be exact.

Interestingly, even with the reduced weight and thickness, Samsung bumped up the battery capacity from 11,200 mAh to 11,600 mAh. The supported maximum charging rate is rather unimpressive at just 45W, though.

Of course, the device ships with One UI 8 based on Android 16 out of the box. Also, the package contains the S Pen stylus, which is now redesigned and improved.

Stay tuned for our full review and learn more about the new S Pen features, as well as how the tablet performs in real-world usage and whether the battery life has improved.
