The new software brings a slightly newer UI design language, featuring more compact tab bars at the bottom of some stock apps. It also brings a completely customizable Quick Panel, improved Settings search, S Beam-like Quick Share functionality, multiple AI model options, and some changes to Auto Blocker, among other things.

One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 and will likely debut with the Galaxy S26 series in early 2026.
