Sacred 2: Remaster is a massive update to the classic ARPG. Along with the base game and its Ice & Vlood expansion content, it offers smoother combat, a modern UI, full controller support on PC, enhanced textures, lighting effects, and view distances, and various other fixes that the community has been requesting for years. The Ice & Blood content includes new sections of Ancaria to explore and an additional playable class, the Dragon Mage.

While Sacred 2 is a perfectly viable entry point for new players, if you’re looking to revisit the rest of the series–or even the original version of Sacred 2–you can pick up the games for cheap on PC.

The Gold Edition of the original Sacred, which launched over two decades ago, is available for just $7.34 via Fanatical (normally $10). This game heavily resembles Diablo 2’s–which makes sense, considering Diablo 2 was the action RPG’s high-water mark at the time. Sacred Gold introduces the high fantasy world and loot-focused action RPG gameplay that future entries build upon.

If you would rather play the original PC version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel that launched in 2008, you can grab it and the Ice & Blood Expansion with the Sacred 2: Gold Edition, which is $15 at Fanatical. The final entry in the series, Sacred 3, completed the trilogy’s storyline, but it wasn’t as well-received as its predecessors due to its shifting away from its action RPG roots to more arcade-like gameplay. Nevertheless, if you’re intent on closing out the trilogy, you can grab it for $20 at Fanatical. Note that all games purchased at Fanatical are delivered as official Steam keys.

Sacred Series PC Deals

A few other ARPGs are quite cheap right now, including the Diablo 3: Eternal Collection on Switch for $33 and Diablo 4 for $28 on PS5 and $22.74 on Xbox Series X. Both earned rave reviews from fans, and even though the newer seasons of Diablo 4 have grown a bit stale, the base game still gives you plenty of frantic, demonic action to enjoy. You can also pick up Path of Exile 2 for $30, and while it’s still in early access, there’s plenty of rage-inducing bosses to battle and haunting landscapes to explore.
