Additionally, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG features a Neo Proximity Sensor, a KVM switch, a custom heatsink and OLED Care Pro technologies to mitigate OLED burn-in. However, a stand-out feature is its TrueBlack Glossy coating, which it shares with the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG. Allegedly even glossier than previous glossy WOLED gaming monitors and QD-OLED alternatives like the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM (curr. $1,199.99 on Amazon), TrueBlack Glossy is said to provide a zero-haze experience while reducing ambient reflections by over a third compared with previous glossy WOLED panels.
Currently, the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWMG can be found on retailers like Computer Universe and Digitec. At the time of writing, the new monitor costs €1,199 (~$1,393) in the Eurozone to make it €100 more expensive than the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG. Meanwhile, Digitec is charging CHF 1,113 (~$1,372), which is equivalent to €1,181 at current exchange rates. As it stands, Asus is expected to launch the ROG Strix OLED XG32UCWG in the US before the end of the summer for $949.
