The Clash in Paris Premium Live Event saw Roman Reigns getting stretchered out after vicious attack from Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Following the incident, the reason behind Reigns being written off has been revealed.
According to a report by PWInsider, Roman Reigns will start filming Street Fighter next week. That’s why WWE wrote him off TV after Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker attacked him and he was stretchered out.
It was noted that Roman Reigns is expected to be on set until late September, wrapping up around the week of September 26 if everything goes as planned.
“Roman Reigns will officially begin filming Street Fighter next week, which is why he was written out of WWE storylines after being beaten down by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker before being stretchered out.
Reigns is slated to be on set until the end of September, finishing sometime the week of 9/26, as long as everything runs on schedule.”
Roman Reigns’ Hollywood career is growing while he continues his legendary WWE run. His role in Street Fighter is another big project for him, and so it makes sense why he was written off television. Fans will have to wait to see when Reigns comes back to WWE TV, as he’ll be gone for at least a month, if not longer.
