Greetings from the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket Team.
Thanks to your incredible support, Pokémon TCG Pocket is preparing to celebrate its first anniversary in late October! We couldn’t have reached this milestone without you, and we’re grateful to every player who has joined us on this journey so far.
In anticipation and celebration of the app’s first anniversary, we’re excited to share a sneak peek at some of the updates coming your way, which will be focused on improving accessibility for card collecting to create an even more enjoyable experience for Pokémon TCG Pocket players.
With this focus in mind, there are three major updates coming soon:
-
Implementation of the new share feature
-
A feature that lets you give ♢–♢♢♢♢ rarity cards to friends.
-
You can send one card to each of your friends each day.
-
Once friends send you cards through the share feature, you can select and receive one card each day.
-
-
Range of tradable cards expanded
-
You will be able to trade cards from even the most recent booster packs.
-
In addition to cards of ♢–♢♢♢♢ rarity and ⭐︎1 rarities, ⭐︎2 and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards will also be eligible for trading.
-
-
Improvements to the wonder pick feature
We’re working hard to bring these updates to you in the best possible way, and we appreciate your patience in the meantime. We encourage you to check the in-game news regularly for the latest updates.
We also want to thank everyone who participated in our August 2025 player survey. Your feedback was invaluable in informing the changes in the upcoming updates. We’re continuing to listen to player feedback while developing and maintaining the game to help ensure it remains an enjoyable experience.
One last bit of information: A new expansion featuring Mega Evolution Pokémon is also planned to kick off at the end of October. More details will be shared at a later date, and we hope you look forward to it!
Thank you for being part of our community.
