One of the Raiders’ biggest playmakers isn’t headed to the trading block.
Star pass rusher Maxx Crosby is staying put in Las Vegas, NFL Network reported Tuesday, amid recent reports that other clubs had made inquiries about the four-time Pro Bowler ahead of next month’s trade deadline, with the Raiders sitting at 2-5.
Crosby met with the club Tuesday and “wants to stay in Las Vegas,” according to the report.
The 28-year-old defensive end is having a solid start to the season, tallying 28 total tackles and four sacks through seven games, along with one forced fumble and an interception.
Crosby has played for the Raiders since being drafted 106th overall out of Eastern Michigan in 2019.
He has weathered several storms in Las Vegas, particularly with regime transitions and disappointing seasons.
The Raiders are in their first season of the Pete Carroll era.
The Super Bowl-winning coach with the Seahawks was hired in January to replace Antonio Pierce following the ex-Giants great’s 4-13 campaign in his first full season as head coach.
Pierce was named the Raiders’ interim head coach in November 2023 following the in-season firing of Josh McDaniels.

Although Crosby will be back for Week 9 against the Jaguars, it remains to be seen if any of his teammates will be moved.
Disgruntled wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is still looking to be traded, recently doubling down on his request from the start of the season.
“Oh, for sure,” the seven-year wideout said Tuesday, according to ESPN. “But I’m a professional at the end of the day. I’m just trying to play good football.”
Through six games, Meyers has 29 receptions for 329 yards and zero touchdowns.
The NFL trade deadline is Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
