Gold Derby is serving up Big Brother 27 spoilers all summer long. Read at your own risk!
Over the years, Big Brother viewers have grown accustomed to shocking twists. For this ninth week of Season 27, fans couldn’t believe their eyes when Rachel Reilly was evicted eliminated from the reality TV show, in a non-elimination episode, on Friday, Sept. 5. She was “sacrificed” as a victim of the dreaded White Locust twist.
It all started the night prior, when Mickey Lee was evicted by a 6-1 vote over Ashley Hollis. Gold Derby asked the evictee about the much talked-about relationship between Vince Panaro and Morgan Pope, and she replied, “I don’t know what’s going on with that. I’ll just say, it seems like something that will last for a very long time. Whatever it is they’re trying to do or figuring out — I can see it’s very solid. Whatever that is, I don’t know. I’m gonna mind my business.”
Mickey’s eviction left nine people still in the house: Ashley, Morgan, Vince, Ava Pearl, Keanu Soto, Kelley Jorgensen, Lauren Domingue, Rachel Reilly, and Will Williams.
But Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves, plus the season’s evil Mastermind, had some shockers in store for the audience. “The houseguests will soon receive an invitation to the mysterious White Locust Resort,” said Amy Bingham‘s boss. “One of them won’t be checking out.”
Obviously, the comment about not checking out infuriated many old-school BB fans, who believed that being voted out was the only legitimate way to exit the game. When the live feeds returned on Friday night, Rachel was gone. Bring on the outrage!
We then learned the HOH competition had taken place and the winner was Lauren! She nominated Morgan, Will, and Ashley for eviction. Devastating news for the Judges alliance (and their fans).
Last time we checked the live feeds, Morgan was sobbing in the arms of Vince as he gently massaged her, saying everything will be OK. She doesn’t look so optimistic, and told Vince she tried to warn him about Lauren.
Meanwhile, Ava, Ashley, Will, and Kelley were all in the backyard while Keanu looked somber — alone with his thoughts — in the kitchen.
