Rabbi Peretz Sirota, a member of the Chabad community in Nachlas Har Chabad, Israel, passed away on Friday night, 1 Av, 5785.
He passed away on Friday night after battling a terrible illness.
He was 59.
Rabbi Sirota served as gabbai of the shul at the Chabad Talmud Torah, and was the maintenance manager of the vocational school in Nachlas Har Chabad.
He was descended from the distinguished Laine-Chein family, and was a grandson of Rabbi Mordechai Sirota OBM, who was known for his self-sacrifice and hospitality both in Tashkent and in Nachlas Har Chabad.
He is survived by his wife Galia and children, Motti Sirota and Nati Sirota.
His father, Rabbi Moshe Sirota OBM, one of the elder Chassidim in Nachla, passed away on 10 Nissan 5785. His mother, Mrs. Elke Sirota OBM, passed away on 2 Kislev 5784.
The levaya took place on Motzei Shabbos begining at the vocational school, continued through the Chabad Talmud Torah and Bais Eliyahu central shul, and burial the beis hachaim in Kiryat Malachi.
