The Princess of Wales turned heads today (Thursday 4 September) as she fully debuted her blonde hair transformation in her first official outing since going lighter. Last week (26 August), Kate was spotted through a car window with lighter locks, but today was the first time she’d been seen out on an official visit since her new look.
The Princess was on a visit to the Natural History Museum in London and was spotted on the steps outside the historic building with her flowing caramel-blonde hair. Kate opted for a sophisticated look for the occasion, with a classic tweed blazer worn over a crisp white shirt and black trousers.
While The Princess’s outfit looked like she meant business, her jewellery had a subtle, more sentimental nod as she wore a necklace featuring the initials of her children’s names: Princes George and Louis and Princess Charlotte.

Kate was joined at the museum by her husband, the Prince of Wales. Prince William went for a relaxed suit look, wearing his blue shirt open and without a tie. The royal couple were visiting the newly renovated ‘living laboratory’ gardens at the landmark and were joined by schoolchildren to explore the plants and wildlife.
Unfortunately, the British weather was not on side for the alfresco day out, as the heavens opened. Luckily, The Princess was armed with an umbrella and, in a sweet gesture, could be seen ushering a young girl underneath with her, to help shelter her from the rain.
