Princess Kate reveals new look as she debuts incredible new hair colour | Royal | News

Princess Kate looked incredible on Sunday as she was spotted with her hair looking blonder than ever before. The Princess of Wales was all smiles as she debuted her new look on a car journey to Sunday service with Prince William and their three children in Scotland.

As she sat in the passenger seat of the car driven by The Prince of Wales to Crathie Kirk, near Balmoral, Kate’s hair appeared to have been lightened to a blonder tone. This was seen as the hair shone in the summer sun through the car window as it was seen cascading over her shoulder.

It is not known whether Kate has dyed her hair lighter or whether her usual brunette locks have simply lightened in the sun, with the princess no doubt having had enjoyed time outside this summer.

The princess’ new look comes as Prince William and Princess Kate, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay when in Scotland, are currently enjoying their summer holiday with the Royal Family at Balmoral Castle. They were joined in the car on Sunday on the way to the church service with their three children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.

Other royals were also seen arriving at the church today separately, including King Charles and Queen Camilla Princess Anne and Prince Edward, two of the King’s siblings, were also seen being driven to the church service.

The royals are believed to be spending quality time together at Balmoral this week – a tradition they do every summer. Senior royals, and the wider family, all gather together at the castle for some family fun, which is believed to involve walks, picnics and barbecues.

Prince William and Princess Kate are believed to attend with their children every year, spending quality time with other members of the family away from the cameras and royal stage.

It is believed the family will be making the most of the rest of the summer holidays over the next week before heading back home to Windsor in time for their children to return for a new school year at Lambrook in September. This will be especially significant for Prince George, who has just one academic year left at the school before moving on to his next school, which is rumoured to be Eton College.

While the family will soon be returning to their humble Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor, where they have lived since 2022, ahead of the start of the school term, they are not set to stay for long. This is because the family is currently planning a home move just a short drive away.

Just over a week ago, it was confirmed that William and Kate, along with their children, will be relocating to Forest Lodge in Windsor by the end of the year.

The mansion is significantly bigger for the family and has eight bedrooms as opposed to the four their cottage currently has.

The family reportedly want the eight-bed mansion, which is currently undergoing renovation work, to be their forever home. This is reportedly set to be the case even when Prince William one day becomes King.

It is believed the family enjoy living in Windsor, with royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams exclusively telling Express.co.uk that it is “ideal” for them.

He said: “They are fond of Berkshire and its countryside, and also have a London base and press office in Kensington Palace, and a country home in Anmer Hall. Forest Lodge, with eight bedrooms and nearby cottages where staff can live, seems ideal.Forest Lodge is a family home, well placed for security purposes and in their beloved countryside too.”

Princess Kate appears to be more than ready to move into the £16 million mansion as she was reportedly spotted searching for furniture for the new abode.

The princess has apparently already picked out a 24-seater dining table for the new home, which will be more than big enough to host special family events and occasions.

It is not known whether Kate will continue to stick with her new blonder hairstyle as she enters this period of change in her life, with the family believed to be seeing their home move as a chance to start fresh after a difficult few years.
