Not only has more come to light after the sexual abuse and trafficking allegations against Prince Andrew, thanks to Virginia Guiffre’s posthumously-released memoir, NOBODY’S GIRL, but it seems yet another major scandal broke out; and it allegedly has The Crown rethinking his stay at the Royal Lodge.
For those who don’t know, Andrew has been staying at The Royal Lodge, a 30-bedroom estate in Berkshire. The Queen Mother lived there until her death in 2002, and then in 2004, it became the official country residence for Andrew, his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, and their daughters Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

When the abuse allegations came out years prior, it was reported that King Charles tried desperately to get him kicked out of the royal home. However, his lease is rather iron-clad, having him live there until 2078 with a rent of “one peppercorn.” But this latest news may have the Crown finally push him out.
In recent news, Andrew was linked to Adrian Gleave, a businessman who was linked to a collapsed firm accused of pension mis-selling. Andrew received approximately $80,000, as evidenced by court documents. Because of this, The Crown is now asking a lot more questions about Andrew’s finances.

Per the Blast via Yahoo, Andrew is now “in talks” with Charles about leaving the Lodge.
However, The Crown is staying mum about it, with a spokeswoman saying, via the Observer, “We cannot comment on the leases, I’m afraid…If called upon, we would work openly with the committee as an independent commercial business with a statutory obligation to manage land and property for the benefit of the nation and its finances.”
